Enrollment
South Doyle High School serves students in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
Students who are zoned for South Doyle and attended a Knox County middle school for 8th grade are automatically enrolled.
Enrollment for students who are new to the districts must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.

Daily Schedule
South Doyle High School’s school day begins at 8:30 a.m. Students arriving after this time are considered tardy and must check in at the front office.
Dismissal begins at 3:30 p.m.

Academics
South Doyle High School follows the district’s 865 Academies model.
Ninth-grade students learn within the Freshman Academy, building a strong foundation for high school success.
In 10th grade, students join one of our two career-themed academies:
- The Academy of Business and Health Science
- The Academy of Engineering and Fabrication
They'll take classes in their chosen academy through graduation, ensuring their learning is connected to real-world skills and future opportunities.

Student Supports
The entire staff of South Doyle High School is committed to establishing an atmosphere in which children will feel safe, secure, and happy so they maximize their opportunities to learn and achieve. The school has trained counselors and a social worker on staff

Athletics, Clubs, and Arts
Learning doesn't stop when the school day ends. South Doyle High offers a variety of after-school and extracurricular activities—including athletics, clubs, and performing/visual arts—that give students the chance to build new skills, connect with peers, and explore personal interests.

Library / Media Center
Our library is a hub for student learning, reading, and discovery. In addition to the school library, teachers may maintain individual collections of age-appropriate books in their classrooms to support literacy and foster a love of reading.
